Puffball, Fluffball and Buffball!
...a happy trio (at least for a while!
They got along well at first ...

Although Buffball and Fluffball looked really cute playing with even tinier Puffball in the pet shop, we did not intend to bring home three more desert hamsters. We were just looking for a possible mate for Bright Spot.
But ...
- Bright Spot was really serious about remaining a bachelor.
- Tinier little Puffball was too energetic for uncoordinated little Bright Spot ...
- Puffball looked so lonely ... she wouldn't eat ... she wouldn't play ...
- We couldn't just bring home one of her ex-cagemates and leave one all alone in the pet shop ...
- When we brought Buffball and Fluffball home and put them in the tank with Puffball, she was so happy! She thought she would live happily ever after with Buffball and Fluffball.
- But Fluffball developed a different plan for the future. Her plan was to have Buffball all to herself.
